With the holiday console retail rush fast approaching, Sony has once again denied rumours of a PSP price cut, favouring instead to try and market the non-gaming functionality of the PSP unit. "We don't necessarily see the need to cut the price," John Koller, product manager at Sony Computer Entertainment America told Reuters. "We need to offer broader value and introduce new consumers to what the PSP can do." Instead of a price drop to battle against superior sales of the Nintendo DS rival device, Sony has already released a new Entertainment pack, bundling both movie (Lords of Dogtown) and game (ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails) UMD formats into a $250 console package.
