PSPFanBoy has posted a interesting take on the comparison of the VGcharts.org sales figures between Nintendo's DS and Sony PSP. Putting aside the issues with UMD, Firmware and the PS3, plotting the results from the first 22 months of cumulative hardware sales from both systems shows some surprising results. After nearly 2 years on the shelf, the PSP has sold approximately 1 million more units the the DS.
