The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences today awarded Sony an Emmy for its Xross Media Bar at its 58th Annual Technology and Engineering Emmy Awards.
The technology, more commonly abbreviated as 'XMB', scooped the award in the category of "Outstanding Innovation and Achievement in Advanced Media Technology for Best Use of Personal Media Display and Presentation Technology".
