The FT has reported that Sony is apparently set to launch a movie video download service in the first half of 2007.
Amazon, along with Movielink and Cinema now have been named as possible content providers, in a move which would threaten Apple's dominance on the video download market.
Storage will continue to unitise a memory stick medium, with a 4 GB
Memory Stick Pro Duo currently available from Sony and third party
vendors such as SanDisk.
UMD has dogged the PSP over its short
lifespan, however the ability of the PSP to render superb playback of
video has never been called into such disrepute.

I've even got a SUPERBAD umd movie bundled free with my psp but i still don't play it.
